Our Story

I started taking photos of people during long commutes on the bus in Miami. Many of them were in their work uniforms, covered in dirt, sweating, smiling under grimy florescent lighting in the fleeting moment before I reached my stop. This introduction to photography solidified a love for the untamed and unexpected and the highly underrated beauty of ordinary moments. In a city of extremely saturated colors, glaring advertisements, and congested streets-- my understanding of beauty itself was expanded and reconstructed.

The work I do now is focused on providing images that serve as living reminders to my clients of their beauty and how precious their place is in the world around them.

My process is to listen to my client, identify their vision, provide creative feedback, and then facilitate an experience where they feel truly seen, heard and celebrated during our session before their final images.

    I had such an amazing experience doing a photoshoot with Carmella! From the very beginning, I could tell how much thought and intention she put into the entire shoot. She sent me Pinterest ideas and created such a clear vision for the photos, which made me feel like she really cared about bringing the concept to life. She even took the time to FaceTime with me and help me choose my outfits, which I really appreciated.

    She was also on time, professional, and so encouraging throughout the entire shoot. She made me feel comfortable in front of the camera and gave me great direction and prompts without ever making me feel awkward or pressured. We flowed really well together, laughed a lot, and genuinely had fun during the shoot.

    I also loved how passionate she is about photography. She shared little details about the camera and the process, and you could really see the love and effort she puts into her work. Even after the shoot, she was great about communicating with me and getting my photos back so soon.

    Overall, I'm so happy with the experience. Carmella is creative, intentional, encouraging, and truly cares about her clients and her craft. I would definitely work with her again. ☺️📷✨
